Thinking about getting a new pet and have some questions?

Just got a new pet and need a little help and information?

Had a pet for awhile, but thinking you’d like to be a better pet parent?

Pets Are Like Family presents community workshops on Chicago’s northwest side helping prospective, new and ongoing pet parents get the information and assistance they need to be loving, responsible pet guardians.

Pet professionals talk about how to choose the right pet, how to prepare for your new pet, how to understand and train your pet, when to take your pet to the veterinarian, and how to get help taking care of your pet. Everyone goes home with goodies and an informative booklet. Families can also choose to sign up for further assistance, such as financial assistance with spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchips.

The whole family is encouraged to attend (no pets if held indoors).
Information is provided in English and Spanish!
Rsvps are not required, but are appreciated.
